We're so glad you stopped by!  We would love to see you in person, so here's a quick tour for when you come.

  • There is plenty of parking around the back of the church.  You can use either driveway to get there.

  • There is a handicap parking spot and a ramp to the right of the building.

  • The middle door in the front of the church will be open during service times.  

  • We have two single-stall bathrooms, with a changing table in the ladies' room.

  • If you have questions about our services or our facilities, please use our contact form, and we will get back to you as soon as possible.

Where Did We Come From?

The first meeting of the Second Baptist Church of Dover was held on May 24, 1794 in an old church building located at the Valley View Cemetery.  This building was used only in the summer, and in the winter the congregation met in private homes.  The current building was erected in 1832, and was remodeled in 1863.
